Beth El Cemetery

Directions to the cemetery

The official address of the Beth El Temple Cemetery and Chapel is 1100 South Progress Avenue, Harrisburg PA, but mapping software often has trouble finding it using that address.  Here are a few options for getting directions to the cemetery:

• Use the embedded Google Map and directions link at the bottom of this page
• Enter the following GPS coordinates into your mapping software: 40.2658670, -76.83057947
• Navigate by a nearby landmark; the cemetery is located on the northeast corner of North Paxtang Avenue and Simpson Road — if you head north from that intersection the entrance will be the first driveway on your right (note that Paxtang Cemetery on the other side of the street is a separate cemetery entirely)
• If you need an actual address to navigate to, you can try 501 North Paxtang Avenue (in Apple Maps or MapQuest) or 701 North Paxtang Avenue (in Google Maps or Waze) — these aren’t necessarily reliable but will likely get you pretty close
