Beth El Temple is a thriving synagogue located on the banks of the Susquehanna River in Harrisburg PA. From its modest beginnings in 1926, Beth El has grown to the largest Conservative Synagogue in Central Pennsylvania.

Our tradition is one of egalitarian Conservative Judaism, observed in an atmosphere of warmth and community. Our purpose as a congregation is to share the joys and responsibilities of our Jewish tradition in a relevant and meaningful way. We are a place of encouragement, hope and comfort in challenging times. Together, we create a warm and welcoming community where people of all generations are enriched by learning and inspired to discover their personal experience of Jewish life.
