Congratulations to Mandy Cheskis, Director of Lifelong Learning for the Gesher Religious School and Gesher Adult Learning Program, who was recently honored as a Conservative Jewish Educator recipient by the Jewish Educators Assembly at their 2025 conference in Chicago!
The title of Conservative Jewish Educator (CJE) honors educational professionals within Conservative Judaism who have achieved the highest standards within their field, via a combination of experience, study, and contribution.
Mandy is a hands-on director at Gesher, and she has guided the religious school to develop a creative curriculum — featuring music, art, and social action — which teaches a living and vibrant Judaism to children in the central Pennsylvania Jewish community.
