Join us for a Breakfast & Learn program with Rabbi Nina Beth Cardin, President of the Baltimore Board of Rabbis, chair of the Jewish community’s Baltimore Environmental Sustainability Network, and chair of the Sustainability Roundtable of the Conservative movement’s Tzedek Center. Rabbi Cardin will lead us in an exploration of the little-known but foundational mitzvah of Yishuv Olam, which teaches the importance of creating a habitable world.
RSVP by August 27 to amy@bethelhbg.org or 717-232-0556. A contribution for breakfast would be greatly appreciated.
We also have Rabbi Cardin’s book for sale, To Forever Inhabit This Earth: An Ethic of Enoughness, in the office, or you can purchase it at the event. The cost for the book is $8.
